✍️ Share Your Fethiye Story

Came in January expecting it to be quiet and off-season — and it was perfect! No crowds, the old town was completely ours. Kayaköy in winter mist is one of the most haunting, beautiful things I've ever seen. Restaurants were open, locals were so friendly. Temperatures around 15-18°C, great for hiking. Highly recommend January for those who hate crowds.

May is absolutely the best time to visit. The 12 Islands boat trip was incredible — clear water, no crowds, and the crew was so welcoming. We stopped at Aquarium Bay and I've never seen water so transparent in my life. Lunch on the boat was simple but delicious. Five stars without hesitation. Already planning to come back in October!

Saklıkent Gorge was the highlight of our trip — nothing prepares you for how cold the water is even in June! We also did a day trip to Tlos ancient city which was completely empty of tourists. Fethiye itself is a great base — easy dolmuş connections everywhere. One tip: book your paragliding early, slots go fast in June.

Third time in Fethiye and we finally did the paragliding! Honestly was terrified but the pilot was so calm and professional. The views coming down over Ölüdeniz are just unreal. One thing - wear trainers not sandals, you have to run off a cliff edge basically. Also the photos they charge extra for are worth it, ours turned out amazing.

We came for 10 days in September, best decision ever. Still 30 degrees, sea was perfect, and half the prices of July apparently. Walked around Kayaköy for hours, really emotional place when you read the history. The fish market thing where you buy fish and they cook it next door is genius, we went three times lol. Only negative - some of the dolmuş drivers drive like maniacs on the mountain roads 😅

Отличное место! (Great place!) Были в августе с семьёй. В Ölüdeniz лучше приходить до 9 утра или после 5 — днём людей очень много. Открытие для нас — пляж Çalış, закаты потрясающие. Дочка не хотела уезжать. Единственное — в августе реально жарко, берите крем SPF50 минимум. Долмуши удобные, разобрались за первый же день.

费特希耶是一个非常美丽的地方！(Fethiye is a very beautiful place!) October was perfect — still warm enough to swim, and the prices were much lower. Bring cash for the dolmuş, and don't miss the Lycian rock tombs at sunset.
